Sunday Stroll

I go for a walk every day with my daughter. I make it a goal to get out of the house and soak up some sunshine and breathe in some fresh air. And on days where someone is a bit too fussy or won’t go down for a nap, getting outside helps TREMENDOUSLY. Plus, I don’t like spending my days cooped up in the apartment – especially when the weather is so nice!

When the weekend comes I am happy that my husband can join us and we are able to walk as a family. Usually when we go for walks it’s to a park nearby, or just a casual stroll around a few blocks where we ogle our favorite houses and dream about the day when we will be able to have our own to furnish, decorate, and accentuate any way we want.

Yesterday we decided to drive to Aquinas College to walk around campus. This is where my husband and I met, fell in love, and got married, so it will always have a very dear and special place in our hearts. We miss our time at college and being on campus so often, but we’re glad that we live close enough to visit any time we want! Since the last time we were on campus some changes have been made, so that was fun to notice. Also, the campus is GORGEOUS when the trees and flowers are in bloom! It felt like we were walking through the woods or a small forest. While there, we got some great shots of the greenery that surrounds and encloses the campus.

The building pictured above is the chapel where we were married on November 2nd, 2013. Bukowski Chapel was always a welcoming place of community & family as we were able to celebrate mass there each Sunday throughout the school year.
